VINEYARDS
Manley Vineyard-Chardonnay- Sonoma/Carneros
Located just a stones throw away from downtown Sonoma, Randy and Diedra Manley planted a small 1 acre plot of Chardonnay on a mix of sandy loam and clay soils in 2013. Organically hand farmed by BXT since 2020 we took on the farming of this beautiful vineyard to embrace our grower-producer philosophy.
Wheeler Vineyard- Chardonnay-San Benito County
The Siletto Family have been growing grapes in San Benito County for decades. Today the incredibly talented John Siletto overseas 170 acres of organically farmed vineyards across 6 properties. We are extremely fortunate to work with his family’s old vine “Wente clone” Chardonnay. Planted in 1977 on AXR-1, the vines sit on a well drained alluvial fan comprised of Pleasanton gravelly loam.
Yount Mill Vineyard- Pinot Meunier- Yountville, Napa Valley
The Yount Mill Vineyard has been farmed by the Hoxsey family for 4 generations in the beautiful Yountville appellation of Napa Valley. We are extremely fortunate to be part of this historical Napa Valley vineyard. Organically farmed, the Pinot Meunier is planted on silty loam soils on a wide 12*6 spacing .
McCormack Ranch- Pinot Noir- Sacramento Delta
Thoughtfully and sustainably farmed by the wonderful Charlie and Brittany Hamilton of Pressley vineyards, McCormack Ranch is located adjacent to the Sacramento river in sandy soils. Planted in 2008 to Clone 23 Pinot Noir, this large and loose cluster of Pinot Noir thrives in the Californian sunshine. Warm daytime temperatures create ripe, red fruit flavors, while the cool night breeze from the Sacramento delta helps to maintain crisp acidity.
Azaya Ranch- Pinot Noir- Petaluma Gap
Azaya Vineyard is located just 9 miles from the pacific ocean in the Petaluma gap. Organically farmed, the vineyard is planted to an assortment of Burgundian Pinot Noir clones in Blucher loam soil. This stunning south facing hillside sees an abundance of maritime fog which helps regulate temperature and allow for an extended growing season.
Bell Summe- Pinot Noir- Russian River Valley
Bell Summe Vineyard is situated on gold ridge soils in the heart of the Russian River. The site was planted by Jon and Becca Bell in 2018 to a thoughtful selection of Pinot noir and Chardonnay clones. Cool foggy evenings allow wonderful acid retention , whilst the California sunshine helps create nuanced red fruit characteristics. The property is organically farmed and certified sustainable, you can often find John and Becca personally working the vines throughout the season. A little east facing block of Swan clone planted on 420A has been carved out just for BXT.
